should old people be forced into nursing homes?

I think old people shouldn't be forced into nursing homes because most old people have nothing to do because most of them aren't working because they are retired. Old people need an angenda and need to be kept busy because i'm pretty sure it's not healthy for old people to sit around all day. Usually nursing homes has television ,good meals ,and games that are enjoyable at low expense all to keep old people happy and not bored. =) this is the reason why i think old people shouldn't be forced into nursing homes.
